Mama's Thoughts

Hi My Friends:

It is another rainy day in Seattle. A DAH! I will be leaving in two days for Reno to spend Christmas with Toots and the kids. I am really excited as I haven't been with my kids or grand kids in over 30 years for Christmas. Brookanne is only 5 so we can all be kids with her. I'll for sure be the biggest kid!!!

Gabe came to visit us last night. He is so very dear to me. Boy am I lucky to have such a great friend. He and Shane have moved into their new condo and enjoying being home owners. Gabe recently found out he is diabetic. He will be changing his whole life style and I hope he takes a few of us along with him in the change. I hope to visit him next month and he can update me on what I should be doing to live longer. Who knew?

Paul did very well with his surgery and Roman is busy building his clientele. They made a decision to put this beautiful house up for sale. They have become house poor and need to make a change. While this house has been a tremendous blessing, we are all ready to make the change to be able to enjoy other things in life. At any rate it is listed effective tomorrow through Caldwell Banker. Any one interested, please feel free to buy it! I comes with great recommendations.

I will be going to My Mans tonight. He is wonderful and I think I am hooked. I can't wait for you all to meet him. I made poor Gabe talk to him on the phone last night. I'm sure that was a real thrill.

Have a wonderful Christmas and love each other. I will be back the day after Christmas so I will save my New Years remarks for yet another time.....Lucky you guys.

Mama.s Thoughts

Happy December 7th! Thank God It's Friday. Well we lived through the storm last week end, but not with out some TROUBLES. Our house did not have running water until late yesterday. Yes folks that is 4 days with no showers or any water habits!(If you get my drift.) Roman and Paul had it the worst as I spent some extra nights with my man. At any rate we cut our main water pipe by accident and the rest is history. We will not talk money as it is too painful. Suffice it to say we have canceled Christmas.

My Man took me to see the opening of Jersey Boys. It was wonderful. Of course it was up my alley as the music was all my late teens and early twenties. Good Times!

Christmas is sneaking up on us. I will be leaving the 20th for Reno to spend the holiday with Tootie and my four grandchildren. I am very excited. I come home the day after Christmas and will spend New Years Eve with My Man.

Paul is having surgery today on his sinuses so we will be taking care of him this weekend and Roman is busy at the Salon. We are broke from the storm damage but we are all well. Have a great weekend my friends...........

Mama's Thoughts

Good Afternoon My Wonderful Family and Friends: Turkey Day is on it's way and for Tootie and Laura, Tofurkey (oh yum). Our Seattle family (Paul,Roman,Katelyn and my self) will be having a 24 lb Turkey named Steven Young. We will be hosting our wonderful friend and inducted family member, April. Inducted family member gives you a high status and allows you to help with dishes. My Gabe has been inducted! Also Romans dear friends from Portland,Ernest and Scott and My Wonderful Man Halit! We will be eating early as Halit and I are feeding the homeless down town Seattle from 5:15p to 6:15pm. It promises to be a fabulous Thanksgiving!

It is my favorite Holiday of all. Count your blessings and know that I miss each and everyone of you this time of year. Make just one person happy on Thanksgiving Day and you have done a "Thing of Beauty"!!!

Mama's Thoughts

Happy Friday My Friends:

Soon I will be leaving work and getting ready to be with my incredible Man for the week end. Next Tuesday night my Man and Roman and Paul will meet for the first time. I know all will go well.(I'll let you know.)

Debby was here last week end. I miss her very much. We had a chance to spoil her a little. She is such a beautiful person. I sure wish we lived closer.

On a brighter note, I got a week off at Christmas to go to Reno and be with my Toots and her amazing children. I hope to get my Grandma fix this holiday. I have never spent Christmas with any of my grandchildren. This will be quite a treat.Get ready Bernards.......Grandma Judy is coming!!!

Just a note on how my relationship is doing. I think I am falling deeper by the minute. It could all end this weekend though as I said I would cook for him. This is not a pretty picture but it is a great way to find out if he has a great sense of humor or not. I'll let you know. Hope all my family and friends are well.

My love to you.
Judy

PS A Very Happy Birthday to my friend Jen.(Flower)

Mama's Thoughts

Only three more days until Debby arrives. We are so ready for her!! My thought for the day is thus: The meeting of two personalities is like the contact of two chemical substances: if there is any reaction, both are transformed.

Have a great evening!

Mama's Thoughts

It's Monday! ARRRRG.....However, I had a wonderful weekend and look forward to this weekend. I got to see more of Washington State with my Man this weekend. We went to La Conner and Ana Cordes. Had a great lunch on the waterfront and went in to all the little shops in La Conner. It was art festival this week-end and we saw many great pieces of art.

Next weekend my oldest daughter Debby is coming up from Los Angeles to spend 4 days with us. We have a great weekend planned including an early Thanksgiving Dinner. Her brother is going to pamper her with hair, skin and makeup. She is going through a REALLY rough time and we hope to lift her spirits.

Have a great week and try to think positive.
